We partnered with renowned fashion photographer Mario Testino to build a site that would showcase his film and photography—some of the world’s sexiest and most iconic images. The challenge was to create a site as dynamic and engaging as Testino’s work, and to assemble a simple, efficient system to manage both the constant flow of new imagery and his expansive archives.

We started with a highly visceral homepage that displays Mario’s latest film and photography.

The combination of still and moving images parallels the energy of his work. Videos and images have been encoded for all media types to decrease load time while optimizing the mobile/tablet experience.

Users can save their favorite images and films created by Testino to their own custom “Folios,” which they can then publish and share with friends.

Insiders and fans alike can use the highly intuitive search to browse the Testino archives, filtering by content type, publication and brand.

“Where in the World,” Testino’s brand-new blog, will chronicle the photographer’s journeys around the globe and give consumers a unique, behind-the-scenes view of his life.

The result: a fully immersive destination where users can explore Testino’s world and his stunning work.
